Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans
Full-time and part-time employees working/scheduled to work at least 25 hours per workweek are eligible for company benefits on the first of the month following completion of 28 days of employment. Coverage options include employee only, employee and child(ren) employee and spouse or family coverage. The company pays the employee portion of the medical premium. We also offer two dental plan and a vision plan that allows discounts on services when using a network provider.
The company provides term life insurance at no cost to eligible full-time employees on the first of the month following 28 days of employment.
Short Term Disability
In order to protect employees and their families from sudden loss of income due to illness or injury, short-term disability benefits are paid based on length of service. This benefit is available to full-time employees only.
Long Term Disability
Bayview provides Long Term Disability at no cost to full-time employees. This plan offers continuing income if you are eligible and remain disabled and unable to work for more than 90 days.
Supplemental Insurance Plans
The company offers supplemental plans such as Accident, Hospital, Cancer and Term Life to eligible full-time and part-time employees.
Bayview automatically enrolls eligible employees in the 401(k) plan following completion of six months employment service unless an employee elects to opt out of the plan. Auto-enrollment defers 2% of employees’ eligible bi-weekly earnings. Employees can change their deferral percentage at any time. The employer match is 50% of the employee’s first 6% deferral.
Upon completion of six months of employment, full-time employees are eligible for vacation as shown below:
All employees are eligible upon hire for the following holidays: Part-time employees are paid four hours per observed holiday.
Full-time employees are eligible for 6 sick days per year that may be used after completing three months employment service.
Employee Assistance Program
We offer an employee assistance and Work life Program. This confidential benefit is fully paid by the employer and is a resource to help employees and eligible dependents successfully manage temporary setbacks in life.
Full-time employees are eligible for educational reimbursement after six months of employment. Work related courses, continuing education courses or seminars are eligible for tuition costs up to a maximum of $3,000 per year.
